FUSALP FUTUR – PISTE 1

In 1952, two craftsmen tailors from Annecy decided to put their know-how as couturiers and entrepreneurs at the service of the creation of ski clothing. Thus was born Fusalp, a brand of winter clothing, originally specialized in skiwear. The collections combine technicality, functionality and elegance. In 2014, Sophie Lacoste-Dournel and her brother Philippe Lacoste bought Fusalp, giving it a new lease of life.

CONTEXT

Fusalp represents the idea that we can combine performance and comfort without sacrificing style. Its attractiveness for innovation is part of a genuine Research and Development approach to which we have contributed in the context of Fusalp Futur – Track 1.
In the process of combining innovation and style as well as performance and elegance, an « intelligent » ski jacket was born, equipped with a rechargeable system with adjustable temperature. To contribute to its creation, we accompanied Fusalp during the sourcing phase of the batteries as well as during the certifications process.

PROCESS

To support the brand in this project, we accompanied Fusalp during the sourcing phase of the batteries as well as during the certifications process for the Fusalp Future Track 1 ski jacket.

01 SOURCING

The mission was to provide a 7500mAh battery that can fit inside the jacket pocket.
We designed the battery in order to meet those requirements, and we branded it to the Fusalp colors.
Efficiency and discretion are the watchwords of this innovation, where the battery is subtly concealed offering consumers convenience and style.

02 CERTIFICATIONS & GO TO MARKET

Any product including electronics is subject to certifications. The certifications to be compliant with depend on the selected selling countries.
We challenged the different certification organizations to obtain the most competitive prices and managed the process such that our client could sell it worldwide in its different stores.
